Voice broadcasting is also known as robo calls and is a system that allows you to send out pre recorded telephone calls to hundreds or even millions of people very quickly. Some systems (including ours) can be calling on 10,000 or more phone lines at the same time.

One example of government agencies using robo calls is a voter registration office contacting voters to offer information and dates.
Several options you have are playing a message and then ending the call, playing a message then offering a press 1 option to transfer the call anywhere, automatic surveys, voice mail drops, and redialing to call people back.
